Getting ‘Zoom Ready’
Please ensure that you have Zoom installed, updated and tested in plenty of time before the sessions start. We will not be able to help you with it during the session.
Here are some quick hints to make sure you are ‘Zoom Ready’ for your sessions.
If you don’t already have Zoom
You will need an internet device such as a tablet, laptop with camera and mic or smartphone. You will need to be in a place with a good broadband WiFi connection.

Check for updates if you already have Zoom installed
Here are some quick hints to make sure you are ‘Zoom Ready’ for your sessions.
Take a moment to check your zoom application is ready to use at least half an hour before your session. There have been many software updates over recent months and these will need installing before your meeting will connect.
On smartphones please check for updates as you would all applications. On PC’s and Mac computers, you can check for updates with the Zoom application open and find the ‘Check for updates’ option.
